The Astana bikes all getting a wash.
Mechanics workings on the Astana bikes.
Chris Horner! Note my wife and son on the right of the picture getting his autograph. He was great. Wanda mistakenly called him Levi... I was embarassing... I pretended I didnt know her...
Bill Stapleton (High Road) and Paulo Bettini at the contested finish.
Bob Rolls head in the middle of the picture.
Levi donning another leaders jersey. He is freaking short! The Rock Racing asian hotty podium girls were both taller than him...
One of the best parts of the day was hanging out with the team cars, mechanics, bus's, etc. Really cool. Here are Slipstreams bikes.

Here comes the peleton...

Jens Voight... One of my favorite riders!

The world champ... Paulo Bettini.
Shot of the finish line.

Even Death has to take a pee...

Here comes the breakaway...

The breakaway... They held on all the way to the final circuit...

The hill was so steep, that this guy stopped to take some pictures on the corner of the climb and could'nt get his bike going again... It was crazy. He almost dumped twice...

Me and my new friend.

Here are some more pictures...
His Holiness came to watch the race...

The EPO brothers from Rock Racing that werent allowed to start road all of the stages to "train". It was retarded. Note Tyler with his baseball cap on backwards. Idiot!

Death and the Pope... This is a combo you dont see every day...

This nut ball is famous for all the major tours. He also has an elk antler helmet he wears....
This post is from Dan. We went to go get some sun and get dry in California this past week. Was lucky enough to go at catch the Tour of California Stage 6. This stage is noted for the Balcom Canyon hill climb. After riding for the week in Palm Springs we went to Ventura to see the stage. The night before the stage I rode from Ventura and made it half way up the climb before my legs exploded. This climb has a 20 percent grade and it epic. Day of the stage, may people who came to ride up the climb to watch had to walk... Super fun experience. We then flew down to Santa Clarita to catch the finish and load up on free stuff. It was awesome. We should all do this as a training camp next year!

STP 07

Yellow jersey here I come!

Here we are at the finish line, minus Dan who was boarding a plane bound for Boise. Hmmm..... and Wanda's due the middle of May? Who wants to bet that she has the little bambino between mine and Verdell's birthdays?
